Husbandry

Randall & Swerdloff, 1973

Very special thanks for the first photo of a very rare and living Chromis struhsakeri to Robert K. Whitton and to Richard L. Pyle, PhD, from the Bishop Museum, Hawaii, for the friendly mediation!
The photo of the exquisite Struhsaker’s Damselfish (Chromis struhsakeri) was taken at a depth of 280 feet (84 meters) off the north side of Pearl and Hermes.

Classification: Biota > Animalia (Kingdom) > Chordata (Phylum) > Vertebrata (Subphylum) > Gnathostomata (Superclass) > Pisces (Superclass) > Actinopteri (Class) > Perciformes (Order) > Labroidei (Suborder) > Pomacentridae (Family) > Chromis (Genus) > Chromis struhsakeri (Species)
