Uroptychus sp. - Henderson, 1888
Uroptychus is a genus of squat lobsters in the family Chirostylidae found across the Indo-Pacific. These squat lobsters are typically deep-seaspecies and associated with large gorgonian corals.
Uroptychus sp. is an undescribed species from the Bismarck Sea, PNG.
Inhabit Siphonogorgia disacea soft coral
Very similar to Cryptic squat lobster Uroptychus joloensis, but lacks the spots on joints of claw arms and at the base of the pincers.
