Platygyra daedalea Ellis and Solander, 1786

Its simply to keep. Middle till High Light.

Description: Colonies are massive to encrusting, and meandroid or submeandroid, with thick walls. Septa are exsert and have a characteristically ragged appearance. Columellae are weakly developed and centres are indistinct.

Similar Species: Platygyra lamellina, which has thicker walls and neat rounded septa.

Halte diese Koralle nunmehr seit 4 Wochen - ohne Probleme.
Sehr schön anzusehen.
Mein Exemplar ist leuchtend grün.

Meine kommt aus Tongo. Die Koralle mag es nicht, wenn die Seiten abgedunkelt werden. Kugelig Geformte können empfindlich reagieren, wenn das Licht nur direkt von oben kommt. Wenn Platygyra's von Acropora's abgedunkelt werden, werden sie degenerieren. Kann leicht zugefüttert werden, wächst aber langsam im Vergleich zu Favies-Arten. Vor allem auf No3/Po4 sollt geachtet werden. Verträgt keine Konkurenz von Scheibenanemonen.
Nachts streckt sie die Tentakeln aus, die recht lang (12 cm) werden können. Je stärker die Strömung je länger! Scheinen aber nicht stark zu nesseln. Bitte keine zu starke Strömung!
