Husbandry

Distribution:
Eastern Atlantic: southern Portugal to Angola including the Ligurian and Tyrrhenian seas in the Mediterranean.

Biology:
The young are sometimes found in caves, larger specimens caught deeper.
Feeds mainly on decapod natantia.
