Husbandry

Loimia arborea Moore, 1903

Leslie Harris :there's no way to identify this past the family Terebellidae from just the tentacles.

This is probably a Loimia arborea.Loimia arborea is common in tidepools, shallow reefs and rubble. White feeding tentacles are extended from the animal's body.Due to the long tentacles called this worm spaghetti worm. The body is 12 inches, tentacles may exceed 4 feet. It lives in warm seas worldwide.

The photo was taken in Egypt.
