Baeolidia moebii Bergh, 1888

The background colour is brown or brownish-green,sometimes with whitish patches over cerata and body. There are species with yellow tips to the cerata or animals with intense blue markings. Baeolidia moebii keeps zooxanthellae alive in its body and is a Solar powered Sea Slug.

This species feeds on the sea anemone Cricophorus nutrix.

Very similar is Baeolidia salaamica with white patches on the body and long, cylindrical cerata.
