Info

Cribrinopsis similis is an anemone that copes well with a wide temperature range from sub-zero temperatures to pleasantly warm water temperatures.
The anemone has about 80-90 conical or cylindrical tentacles, which are wrinkled in the transverse direction and have pointed ends, with which it captures zooplankton, zoobenthos and, in very large depth, sea snow.

Remains of mud on the lower part of the column and an undamaged intact base in all specimens indicate that the specimens live unsecured on soft ground,
where the lower part of the column is immersed in the sludge.

Aquaristic keeping experiences are not known.
