Siphonaria diemenensis Quoy & Gaimard, 1833

Siphonaria diemenensis isair-breathing sea snail , a marine pulmonate gastropod mollusc in the family Siphonariidae commonly known as the false limpets. False limpets are algae grazers.

Lives intertidally attached to rocks in sheltered to moderately exposed environments. Endemic to southeastern Australia .This species is widespread and abundant tin Tasmanian waters.
