Very special thanks for the first photo of this beautiful yellow zonathid to Prof. Dr. Neville Barrett, Australia.
The Yellow Zoanthid (Epizoanthus karenae) is found on coastal reefs, on overhangs or in caves, where this colonial speices forms dense colonies in form of a spectacular carpet of colour!

This zooanthid was named after the marine biologist Karen Gowlett-Holmes, Australia.
