Lonchopisthus micrognathus Swordtail jawfish

Lonchopisthus micrognathus (Poey, 1860)

Found on silty or muddy bottoms of the continental shelf, in burrows. Sometimes found in colonies. Feeds on benthic and planctonic invertebrates.
