Husbandry

Paracrangon echinata Dana, 1852

Prey items include gammarid amphipods, shrimp, and polychaetes. Small prey are consumed whole. Large prey are first repeatedly speared with the sharp spine, then eaten headfirst.

Similar in apearance to Lebbeus groenlandicus.
