Arenaeus cribrarius (Lamarck, 1818)

These swimming crab can be found on soft bottom. Prey detritus, molluscs, small fishes. The Swimming crab is nocturnal.

Kommercial usage: In some parts of the world Arenaeus cribrarius is important in fisheries, particularly along the Brazilian coast.
