Scleronephthya corymbosa is a soft coral known only from the Red Sea.Publications from HongKong are most likely not Scleronephthya corymbosa, exact certainty can only bring a molecular examination here.

Scleronephthya corymbosa is azooxanthellate and feeds on phytoplankton.
