Hamodactylus noumeae Bruce, 1970

Shrimps genus Hamodactylus are usually coral-associated commensal shrimps, often with with octocorals (Nephtheida, Ellisella, Melithea).

Hamodactylus noumeae was first described from Nouméa, New Caledonia. This species have a widely distributed in the Indo-West Pacifi c region.
