Info

Turleania rubriguttatus Komai, 2020

urleania rubriguttatus has been described from two specimens, including one male and one female, from shallow tidal waters in Kochi Prefecture, Japan. Until its scientific description, Turleania rubriguttatus was known as "sp." guided.

Turleania rubriguttatus is very similar to Turleania saliens, however its cornea has a red whorl pattern instead of a red spot, and it is dotted with many fine red spots, finer than Turleania saliens. In addition, the male closely resembles Turleania albatrossae and the female Turleania sibogae.

Unfortunately, not further information is available.
