This large-polyped stony coral is not commonly found in its habitats.
Slat forms loose clusters or small colonies of individual animals that are not connected to each other.
Neither depth data nor water temperatures have been documented in the literature on stony corals, so we wrote to Shaunak Moodi, India, to obtain actual information.
