Lobiger viridis Pease, 1863

This species only feeds on the green algae Caulerpa racemosa.The green Lobiger is almost invisible on the green algae.Tentacles can break off (like the tail separated from a lizard), to irritate predators.

This sea slug retains the photosynthetically active chloroplasts from there prey.

Habe mir die Schnecke mit Lebendgestein und Caulerpa Racemosa "eingeschleppt". Schön anzusehndes Tier das die komplette Einfahrphase problemlos überstanden hat und nun für reichlich Ableger des Caulerpa sorgt.

Es handelt sich hierbei mit großer Wahrscheinlichkeit um Lobiger viridis[Pease, 1863], Haltung im Aquarium dürfte nicht so schwer sein, sie ernähren sich von Caulerpa racemosa.
