Testudinalia testudinalis (O. F. Müller, 1776)

Testudinalia testudinalis, the plant limpet,is a small conical limpet with the apex anterior and smooth shell with fine radiating ridges. The shell is white, grey, brown or green. The mantle edge is copper-green with two rows of fine tentacles.

The plant limpet eats by grazing on algae found on rock surfaces. They scrape films of algae from the rock with a radula.
