Myxicola infundibulum (Montagu, 1808)

Myxicola infundibulum is a large tube worm, reaching 20 cm in length. The body color is usually yellow or orange, but sometimes brown or violet. Normally, only the red or orange crown is visible over bottom surface.

It can be found buried in mud or sand on all depths from the sublittoral zone and down to 500 metres.
