Husbandry

Ancula gibbosa (Risso, 1818)

The background colour is a translucent white with three longitudinal orange lines. Rhinophores, gills and papillae are orange tipped.This species can be found on moss animals (bryozoan)and feeds probably on entoprocta (kamptozoa), hydrozoa and/or ascidians.

Very similar are Polycera quadrilineata, Polycera faeroensis and Trapania maculata.
