Oplegnathus fasciatus (Temminck & Schlegel, 1844)

In the sea, these perch prefer coastal rocky reefs, while juvenile perch spend their early life in seaweed beds and areas with plenty of kelp, where there are many hiding places.

Introduced in Italy, Malta, and the west coast of the USA!
