Kalinga ornata Alder & Hancock, 1864

Kalinga ornata is the only species in the genus Kalinga and the type genus of the subfamily Kalinginae.

This sea slug is nocturnal and prefers sandy or silty bottom. Kalinga ornata lives burrowed in the sand or mud.The background colour is white with small whitish and larger reddish papillae.

Feeds on brittle stars.
