Info

Atule mate (Cuvier, 1833)

Scats have a high swimming requirement and are also fast hunters on the reef and in open water, where they are regularly found in schools.

Adute mackerel of this species are particularly common in mangrove zones and coastal bays of shallow water areas up to 80 meters deep.

The mackerel prey quickly and persistently on zooplankton.
