Cadlina modesta MacFarland, 1966

The body colour is a light yellowish, the gills are yellow-white, occasionally tinted with orange or pink. On the mantle is a band of yellow spots around mantle skirt .Cadlina modesta feeds exclusively on sponges (Aplysilla glacialis und Halisarca sp. ).

Similar are Cadlina flavomaculata (has brown to almost black rhinophores) and Cadlina sparsa ( has dark spots with yellow centers longitudinally on either side of the dorsum).
