Myurella pygmaea (Hinds, 1844)

Myurella pygmaea belongs to the family Terebridae.The shell is long, slender and smooth, operculum is horny. The snail live in warm or temperate waters, mostly in the intertidal zone on sand.

Myurella nebulosa is commonly known as the Pygmy Auger. Its feed on worms, which are hunted by a poison.
