Cyerce nigra Bergh, 1871

Cyerce nigra has black, white and yellow striped cerata. It is commonly known as Black cyerce. The Black cyerce lives on sandy bottom,on algae fields in shallow water or seldom on coral fields. These species feeds on algae genus Udotea, especially on Udotea geppiorum.
