Aegires citrinus Pruvot-Fol, 1930

This tiny species feeds exclusively on calcareous sponges and has a sponge-like appearance.

Juveniles have black rhinophores which turn yellow when adult.

Even if the name "citrinus" immediately associates a yellow coloration, which is also predominantly the case with the snail, there are color variations, such as in white, see
