Posted by Wirbellose under “What is this?” with the comment: Hello, can anyone tell me the exact name of this Palythoa?

Answer from robertbaur:
Hello Wirbellose, unfortunately, I can't be more specific than Playthoa. Most of the species have not really been described, and there are no great reference works, at least none that I am currently aware of.

Crust anemones are generally easy to keep and usually do not have any special care requirements.
They live mainly on light, but also on dissolved nutrients and small food particles.

They can therefore cope with both less and more light and often reproduce well, in many cases too well, so that they can become competitors for slower-growing corals.

Some Palythoa species can be highly toxic under certain circumstances, so please refer to the introduction to this section. Therefore, you should always be careful when handling crust anemones and wear protective goggles when working on colonies, as individual animals have sprayed their fluids into the eyes of some aquarists in the past.
In such cases, please consult a doctor and describe what happened.
