Alveopora viridis
Quoy and Gaimard, 1833

Characters: Colonies are submassive, sometimes forming columns. Corallites are as small as many species of Porites. Septal spines are of two lengths.

Colour: Grey-brown or greenish-brown.

Habitat: Lower reef slopes protected from wave action.

Abundance: Rare.
