Halte diesen Fisch seit ca. 6 Stunden, muss aber bedauerlicher Weise sagen, dass meine Putzer-Lippfische beide nicht akzeptieren. Nicht nur das sie durch das gesamte Becken gejagt werden, sie werden auch regelrecht zerbissen. Somit muss ich leider sagen,, wunderschöne Tiere, aber nicht zu vergesellschaften mit Putzer-Lippfischen.

Ich vermute, die Form und Streifen des Meiacanthus kamoharai, trägt entschieden dazu bei, dass die Putzer-Lippfische so agressiv reagieren.

Halte diesen Fisch nun seit ca. 3 Monaten in einem 300 Liter Aquarium mit entsprechend kleinem Besatz. Das Einsetzen (war schon ziemlich ausgewachsen) war völlig problemlos, die Pärchen Chrysiptera parasema und Amphiprion perideraion sind zackig angeschwommen, haben aber 5 cm vor ihm eine Vollbremsung gemacht und seitdem ist Ruhe, außer wenn er ihrem Laichplatz zu nahe kommt. Sogar der Ecsenius stigmatura ignoriert ihn.
Selbst ist er bisher sehr friedlich und belästigt auch keine niederen Tiere.
Er ging sofort ans Futter (Flocken, rote Mückenlarven, Artemia etc.) und zeigte sich immer im ganzen Becken, vor allem im Freiwasser, obwohl der Riffaufbau viel Struktur und Verstecke bietet. MIt Temperaturen um 27 Grad kommt er gut zurecht, auch Spitzen mit 29 Grad verändern sein Verhalten nicht.
Fazit: in meinem Becken mit kleinem, manchmal gar nicht so ruhigem Besatz eine absolute Bereicherung.
