Ich habe einen solchen Seestern über das Internet bestellt und bei Ankunft hatte er nicht nur - leider - ein Bein abgeworfen, sondern in der Tüte schwammen unzählige rötliche Eier (s. Foto) in der leicht trüben Flüssigkeit, die wohl auch Spermien enthalten haben dürfte...

Ich halte den Seestern seit gut einem Jahr. Er ist gut genährt und Top fit. Er ernährt sich bei mir nur von roten Schwämmen. An einer M.digitata 04 ist im unteren Bereich ein roter Schwamm gewachsen, wo er immer frisst. Das dauert ca 2-3 Tage und dann wandert er wieder durchs Aqaurium, bis er wieder hunger hat.

Ich halte den Seestern (auf dem Foto mit dem roten Hintergrund ;) ) jetzt schon seit ein paar Monaten, bis jetzt ohne Probleme. Er sitzt bei mir meist an den mit Algen bewachsenen Seitenscheiben.
Ihn speziel füttern tue ich nicht, nur ab und an eine Algentablette, wo er sich aber gierig drüber her macht, wobei die eig. für die bodenlebenden Tiere ist...
Ich denke, vorraussetztung ist ein großes Aquarium, wo sich genug kleinlebewesen entwicklt haben.
So ist er bis jetzt bei mir munter im Becken unterwegs!
