Husbandry

Ce splendide poisson papillon ne respecte par non plus les polypes des coraux. Il se différencie de l'espèce parente C.melannotus par les nageoires ventrales blanches. Les adultes vivent généralement en couple.

Close to C.melannotus, from Indo-w.Pacific, but has a rounded spot on caudal peduncle; in C.melannotus (very common in our area) a black area like a band on dorsal fin; sometimes easier but often hard to acclimate
