A jumping guard prevents (nocturnal) fish from jumping out.
Wrasses, blennies, hawkfishs and gobies jump out of an unprotected tank in fright if their night rest is disturbed, unfortunately these jumpers are found dried up in the morning on carpets, glass edges or later behind the tank.

Ich habe diesen Fisch nun seit einem halben Jahr im Becken. Er ist munter und gut gewachsen, hält sich nahezu ausschließlich in einer großen Acropora echinata auf, wurde aber noch nie unmittelbar bei der Futteraufnahme beobachtet! Egal ob Frost- oder Flockenfuttergabe, alle Fische stürzen sich auf das Futter, mein Gobiodon citrinus reagiert überhaupt nicht. Dass an Korallenpolypen geknappert wird, konnte ich auch noch nicht beobachten, sichtbare Schäden gibt es nicht.
Was er nachts treibt, kann ich nicht beurteilen. Wenn ich bei Dunkelheit ins Becken leuchte, sitzt er wie üblich in seiner Koralle.

Ich halte einen Einzelnen Zitronengrundel, bei mir geht sie leider an die Fungia und knappert sehr oft an ihr. Ich kann ihr zuschauen wie sie immer mehr die Farbe verliert.. Ebenso liegt sie gerne in der Milka und ganz besonders kuschelt sie mit meiner Enzmann (Acropora).. auch hier gönnt sie sich manchmal einen biss, jedoch nimmt die Enzmann noch keinen schaden.. Bin am überlegen die Grundel raus zu fangen bevor sie mir die Korallen zerstört.. Gefüttert wird jeden Tag..

Ich habe mir ein Pärchen Z/.-Gr. mit einem Pärchen Knallkrebsen zugelegt. Leider schwimmen sie immer wieder in den Rucksacküberlauf (540 l Aquaperfekt).
Irgendwas passt Ihnen also nicht (2 Kardinalb. 2xNemo, 2x Orangerückenzwergkaiser, 1x Borstenzahn, 1x Chaetodon Kleinii, 2x Gelbschwanzdemoiselles, 1xJuwelenfelshüpfer, 2xKorallenwächter, 2xEinsiedlerkrebs, 2x Seeigel, Schnecken, 1 Sandseestern plus div. kleine Korallen). Hat jemand einen Rat ?:
a. zuviel an Fischen (aber 540l!?) oder
b. Zufall, weil sie leicht durch den Überlaufschlitz (8 mm breit gelangen)..oder
c. Fressfeinde, aber d.s. sie wohl alle in irgendeiner Form
