Dardanus woodmasoni (Alcock, 1905)

Inhabits intertidal areas to a depth of 15 m, on sand mud bottoms.

Dardanus woodmasoni lives in lagoon patches of Halimeda algae on sand, mangroves and seagrass beds, on soft, muddy, and sandy substrates. It is another of the anemone crabs that, like Dardanus deformis, carries one or more anemones attached to its shell.
